Western Turkey has been at the cross-roads of Western Civilization since Paris wooed Helen. Here was the stage for much that was the glory of Greece and the grandeur of Rome. PSA Travel Adventures mean better photographic opportunities and a more satisfying travel experience. We travel in a small maneuverable coach with an expert local guide and me as your photographic guide. If you attended the 1993 Atlanta Convention, you saw my presentation and know that Western Turkey is overwhelmingly colorful, historic and friendly. Our group is limited to 14 so we can react to special lighting situations and make people to people contacts-experiences that rarely happen with larger groups.

I'm Don Lyon. I lead and organize PSA Travel Adventures. I have custom designed this trip to Western Turkey for PSA photographers. It is truly a travel adventure, without being physically strenuous. I have carefully scouted the itinerary and driven over the route a half dozen times. I know where the pictures are and how to get them, either hidden scenes off the beaten track or friendly contacts with the local people. In planning the trip I have considered the best time of year for photography, natural beauty, spring planting activity, fewest tourists and your comfort.
